VYDEHI (DASU)Velagapudi, completed her High school education in Berhampur and after completing her Intermediate in SRR college Vijayawada she worked in Saraswati Memorial School, Bapatla as Telugu teacher. While continuing as a teacher there, she did her graduation and obtained her Masters degree in Telugu from Andhra University, Later she studied in St.Joseph college for women, in Guntur took her B.Ed. She toured extensively and interacted with many scholarly people to collect information and views on the personality and scholarly eminence of Dasu Sreeramulu. As a result of her efforts she wrote a thesis titled ‘ Compositions of Dasu Sree ramulu- a review’. She was awarded Ph.D for her efforts by Andhra University in 1981. Later she worked in different colleges in Govt colleges in Nellore and Srikakulam before retiring in 1983
